Privacy policy
Last updated October 2026. This policy covers the Lida website and desktop app during the private preview. We will update it as the product grows.
What we collect
Account data. Your email address and sign-in method when you sign up or request early access, plus anything you type into those forms (name, platform, what you would use Lida for).
Usage data. Session start and end times, minutes used, and the goal you set for each session, so that we can meter plans honestly.
Session content. During an active desktop session, what is on your screen and what you say are processed in order to help you. This processing exists to guide the current session.
Why we collect it
To run accounts, run the early-access programme, meter usage against plans, and give help in real time. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use your content for advertising.
How it is protected
Account and usage data live in per-user database rows enforced by row-level security. Traffic is encrypted in transit, and secrets are kept on the server. Lida sees your screen only during sessions you start. More detail is on the security page.
Your choices
You can stop using Lida at any time. During the preview, requests to see, correct or delete your data are handled by hand: use the contact page and we will respond.
Changes
We will update this policy as features ship and note the date of the revision here. Material changes during the preview will also be announced to members.
