What Lida does
Three ways of helping, built on two things every one of them needs: seeing your screen and talking with you.
The three modes
Shows you where
Guide
Lida's cursor moves to the exact control, a ring lands on it, and Lida gives one short instruction. It waits until you have done it, checks, then moves to the next step.
You say: “Show me how.”
Explains the idea
Teach
Lida draws the idea on a board beside your work as she explains it, narrated and captioned, in short chapters. Say you do not follow and it explains again a different way.
You say: “Teach me this.”
Does it for you
Agent
Lida clicks and types while you watch. Before a risky step, such as submitting or sending, it stops and asks. Touch the mouse or keyboard and it pauses.
You say: “You do it.”
Underneath all three
- SeeingIt reads your screen for you
- Lida reads the app, the window and the controls in front of you. You never have to describe your setup, paste an error, or send a screenshot.
- VoiceYou talk, it listens
- Speak the way you would to someone beside you. Start talking and Lida stops to listen. If you would rather, Lida can listen only while you hold a talk key.
- CaptionsWhat it says, you can also read
- Turn captions on and everything Lida says appears word by word as it speaks. The transcript in the status pill keeps both sides of the conversation.
- ControlYou can always stop it
- A status pill shows what Lida is doing. Ctrl + Alt + Space silences Lida and stops anything she is doing, and while she is acting for you, touching the mouse or keyboard stops her at once.
