What Lida can see and do, and what it cannot
Lida works with your screen, your voice and your account, so the limits matter more than the features. These are the limits.
What Lida sees
- Only during a session
- Lida looks at your screen while a session you started is running, and at no other time. During a session, pictures of it go to the AI model so it can answer. Lida never saves them.
- Hidden from screen sharing by default
- Lida does not appear in screen shares or recordings unless you switch that on, for example to show it to someone on a call.
- A blocklist you control
- Lida's view is blanked while a password manager, a banking app, or any app you list is in front.
- Stored text is scrubbed
- Personal details are removed from the text Lida stores.
What the agent can do
- It asks before risky actions
- Safe steps run. Risky ones wait behind an approval card, where you choose Allow or Skip.
- Some things it never does
- Lida never types into password fields, never enters card numbers, never transfers money, and never changes security settings.
- You can stop it at once
- Ctrl + Alt + Space silences Lida and stops anything she is doing. While she is acting for you, moving the mouse or pressing a key stops her immediately.
- Everything is logged
- Everything Lida does for you in Agent mode is written to an activity log: what it did, where, how risky it judged the step, and whether it worked.
- Before and after replayComing soon
- A short replay of what the screen showed before and after a step, so you can see what changed.
Your account
- One account, isolated rows
- Sign-in runs on Supabase Auth, with email and password or Google. Your usage, credits and early-access request live in database rows scoped to your account by row-level security.
- Keys stay on the server
- The desktop app holds no model key. Before each session our server checks your credits and gives the app a short-lived pass. Credits are counted on the server, not by the app.
- An emergency stop on our side
- If something goes wrong, we can stop new sessions from starting. Stopping sessions that are already running is coming soon.
- This website collects what you submit
- Your early-access request and your login, and nothing else. There are no trackers and no analytics on this site today.
AI processing
Understanding your voice and your screen runs through our AI providers during an active session. That processing is what makes the help possible. Screen content is used to help with the current session, not to build a profile of you. The privacy policy says what we keep and why.
Your data
You can ask for your data to be exported or deleted at any time. During the preview we handle these requests by hand, through the contact page.

Found something that looks wrong? Tell us through the contact page with as much detail as you can share. Security reports are handled first.
