Product · Website and app
This website is the front door, not the product
Lida's job is to see your desktop and help on it, and a browser tab cannot do that. So the website keeps to four things: your account, early access, your plan and usage, and the documentation.
On this website
- Request early access and hold your place
- Create the one account you use everywhere
- See your plan, your credits and your recent sessions
- Read about pricing, security and how Lida works
Only in the desktop app
- See your screen during a session
- Talk with you while you work
- Guide, teach, or act on the app in front of you
- Count session time against your credits
Why not build it for the browser?
Browsers keep each tab away from the rest of your computer on purpose. That is good security, and it means no website can see your desktop. Lida needs exactly that view to help you, so it runs as an app you install. The cost is one install; in return you get help that can see what you are working on.
